Very clean and quiet. Good sized room with desk for work. Separate wc.

Only possible (minor) criticism is there were no tea and coffee making facilities.

Excellent rooms, breakfast ok, excellent location. Due to the Icelandinc volcano issues, I had to check out a day earlier and they did not charge me the last night. Would definitely stay there again.

I recently stayed at a hotel in the heart of a bustling old city center pedestrian area and had a fantastic experience. The hotel's location was perfect as it was right in the center of Maribor, surrounded by historic buildings and within walking distance of shops, cafes, and dining places. I was also pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices for such a central location. Additionally, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that all my needs were met during my stay. The rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and a very comfortable bed, providing a great refuge after exploring the city. And to top it off, the breakfast included in the stay was delicious and varied, offering a wide selection of options to start the day off right.

Extremely complex access to your hotel.

The staff was really kind and welcoming with advice and suggestions. The room was impeccable and I truly enjoyed the traditional-style building.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, right in the pedestrianised centre of the historical part of town. This means that you are just steps away from all the attractions, cafes, and bars that Maribor has to offer. It's the perfect location for exploring the city on foot and immersing yourself in its vibrant atmosphere.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

Location was very good and breakfast was excellent and most of all the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke very good english we do however think that it was a little overpriced

We recently stopped in Maribor and on a spur of the moment decided to spend the night. With Booked.net we identified this hotel as suitable accommodation for our purposes. The "hotel" shares the building and the facilities (reception, breakfast room) with the hostel Uni. Based on the floor plan and the pictures here at Booked.net, the rooms are similar also (but priced very differently.) Thus, the property feels more like a hostel including worn carpeting and surly – not to say rude – staff at the reception. When we inquired how to get our car to the property we were handed a map without the necessary instructions on how to access the pedestrian zone where the hotel is located. Getting the car to the hotel thus became an unnecessarily annoying and frustrating exercise. The receptionist quoted a best rate of € 102 per night. Ultimately, we paid the Booked.net rate of € 76. At neither rate we would judge this property anywhere near “Very good.” We can see how Hostel Uni at half these rates is rated “Good” at Booked.net.

The rooms were very modern and thoroughly clean. Literally next to the main square in Maribor. The front desk advice was spot on. Breakfast was a very full buffet.

There is a step from the reception to the lifts, if this were made into a ramp it would make life easier with wheels on our suitcase.This was the only niggle, the overall experience was a relief after so much travelling.
